Monster Kid Online Magazine #5

More Priceless Pics from Pittsburgh!

Finally William Smith gets his comeuppance! Over 60 years after kicking her ball onto a rooftop in GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN, little Cloestine is back with a friend to collect her apology.
A GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN reunion of sorts. The film's little bully William Smith poses with decedents of Lon Chaney Jr. and Evelyn Ankers, Paisley Adams as little Cloestine, make-up artist Ron Chamberlain and his (re)creation, the Frankenstein Monster. Where's Mike (Ygor) Thomas?

Chaney, father and son. A fan in costume as Chaney Sr.'s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and Mark Statler in a recreation of Chaney Jr. as WOLF MAN by make-up artist Ron Chamberlain.

Count Gamula gets into to picture. Here Ron Chaney and Kerry Gammill make like Lon Chaney Jr. and Broderick Crawford as lovely Linda Chaney referees.
Coming full circle. Imitator meets innovator as Monster Kid's Count Gamula meets FM's Dr. Acula. The Count holds the first issue of the new Monster Bash Magazine featuring Gammill cover graphics. 45 years ago Forry Ackerman and James Warren brought a generation of monster fans together with the world's first monster fan magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland.

Monster artists A Go-gos. Kerry Gammill with one of his artistic idols the great Basil Gogos.

You never know what to expect at the Monster Bash. Gogos the Great is surprised when the Teenage Werewolf and Frankenstein make a visit to the Guests of Honor room.

Lennie Kohl (in western gear after introducing the Chaney Jr. serial OVERLAND MAIL signs his book Sinister Serials as horror film historian Greg Mank smiles for the Monster Kid camera.

Ron Chaney took time to visit with some of the members of the Tribute to Lon Chaney Jr Yahoo group and answer their questions about his grandfather and upcoming Chaney Enterprises projects. To join other Chaney fans on the Yahoo Chaney group, folloe the link below.

They're creepy and they're kooky - The Adams Family. The family atmosphere of the Monster Bash is only natural considering the folks behind it. Bash chairman Ron "Rondo" Adams surrounded by mom Jan Adams, wife Ursula Adams, daughter Paisley Adams and their young friend John Adams (no relation). Todd Speidel and Mark Statler appeared as the Frankenstein Monster and The Wolf Man.

Ron displays the first issue of Monster Bash Magazine which was unveiled during the convention.
