3-D Animation

Before computers, fantasy creatures were created the old fashion way -- With metal and rubber and pure artistic genius. Here's to two of the great movie magicians who made dreams come to life on the screen.

KING KONG is about to play a game of Ping Pong with a triceratops. Unfortunately for Bruce Cabot, Kong wants him to be the ball. Be careful not to fall into that cavern or you could be the first one to see the film's lost spider scenes -- up close. Willis O'Brien's 1933 masterpiece is still the fantasy adventure film that all others are measured against.

Although two eyes are required for depth perception, even with one eye Ray Harryhausen's famous friend can see that Monster Kid in 3-D is even better than sailor on a stick!

When you're a BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS you get used to a lot of depth. Motorists always become sloppy drivers when they see this guy coming down the street in scareo-vision.
